MATHEMATICS 131 - Trigonometry Textbook: Precalculus Enhanced with Graphing Utilities, 3rd Edition, by Michael Sullivan and Michael Sullivan III, Prentice Hall. Calculator: TI-81 through TI-86 graphing calculator is required. Departmental policy forbids the use of calculators capable of algebraic symbolic operations on Math 131 finals. Your instructor may also restrict the use of these calculators on class examinations. NOTE: Any problem that involves an angle, graph or set-up diagram must include the drawing as part of the solution. All graphs should be neat, scaled, and properly labeled. They should also be reasonably accurate, exhibit correct properties, and diagrams should be labeled appropriately with variable and constants. |
